  Sturdy and useful, saves a lot of drill burn 01 July 2016

  I hate drilling through brick. It jangles my nerves. This kit removed the need to drill with a holesaw through the outer brick skin of my house. All you need to do is identify and remove half a brick - not even a full brick, just a half. Drill out the mortar and use a bolster and (in my case) a handy geologist's hammer to weaken a line down th chosen full brick, then one good wallop with a lump hammer at the looser end will crack it fully ready for removal. And you can cut through the inner aerated block layer with a knife n fork. I used builders foam to stabilise the whole kit in position, again avoiding the need to drill.

  A neat job 22 February 2016

  It's actually a half brick vent but it does the job very well and gives a neat, professional finish. Choose a joint in the brickwork to make drilling out easier and arm yourself with a tube of silicone filler to make good any gaps. It would have been even better value if the kit had come supplied with a venting hose.

  Does exactly what I needed 07 November 2014

  Was looking for a decent tumble dryer vent to install easily and with less fuss than smashing a large unsightly round hole through brick and breeze block. This product fitted the bill perfectly, simply remove half a brick outside, chisel out a same sized hole behind and cut out the entry through the plaster board. Easy enough to install by a modest DIY'er. End result looks neat and tidy.

  Parts don't fit together 05 August 2013

  Curiously, while the indoor circular part fitted perfectly to the rectangular tube, the outdoor flappy part didn't quite fit into the tube. I cut a small notch in one corner with a hacksaw and stanley knife to persuade it to go in. Easy enough to do.

  Good quality and works well 02 January 2013

  Bought this to replace an existing vent kit so didn't need to drill through the wall - the rest of the fitting was straightforward and the kit works really well. The only thing that marks it down is the internal wall plate, which was too small to actually fit as described in the instructions (supposed to fit over the flat channel). no big deal as the kit works fine without it.
