  Needed the strong man who pulls tractors 16 October 2015

  Glad to have the belt, dyson now working. Thank you.. However the putting on procedure was very difficult. Once one end of the belt is put on the broom the other end has has to be pushed upwards though the "chute". It has then to be twisted through 90 degrees to slip past the tiny gap between the plastic side of the housing and the metal post. When this is accomplished it can be slipped onto the post which drives the motor and makes the broom work.

  new belt for new brushbar 02 October 2015

  its a belt, it fits, the brush spins. Pack of two is good so I have a spare now and will re order when spare fitted. E spares spot on as always.

  Hard to fit 18 September 2015

  I have replaced these belts before and struggled with the recommended method: to fit the brush roller with belt first then stretch the belt around the motor spindle. This time I tried setting the belt in place with the roller loose and then pulling the roller to locate it and found that was easier, at least for me.

  Quick & simple 18 August 2015

  Easily ordered online replacement fan belt.. Arrived a couple of days later and easily fitted to vacuum (Dyson DC14) saved pounds on not taking into electrical shop for repair.

  Drive belt change 16 August 2015

  The drive belt on my dyson vac was slipping . Changing it was easy and the difference in operation was immediately noticeable. Well worth the effort.

  Just the job ! 07 August 2015

  Was happy to find that I could still buy belts for DC04 as I was told by Dyson that spares would no longer be available as they have discontinued this model. I didn't find it as easy to fit as demonstrated on the E Spares Video. I found it very hard to get access into the metal strut when stretching the belt as it was so tight. I ended up putting the belt onto the strut first then threaded it though to the front. With a bit of help I put the brush carrier through the taught belt and finally clipped it back into place. Tricky but it worked and has been ok so far.
