  It fitted - eventually 15 September 2013

  I ordered this part for my AEG oven believing it to be exactly the right part. However, once I had removed the old element I could see that the new one had too many mounting brackets. I offered it up and found that it wouldn't fit without some butchering. I cut off two of the brackets with a hacksaw and eventually got it to fit. I was not best pleased. Under normal circumstances I would have returned it for a refund but with two small children we needed our oven back urgently! Come on eSpares, surely these sorts of details are crucial when people are ordering items and putting trust in your website and expertise. This could have prevented others from having an oven for another few days. I even paid extra for next day delivery! I cannot comment on the quality of the item, as only time will tell. It works at least.
