  Fitting drive belt 14 September 2013

  As new carbon brushes needed, replaced drive belt also. Identification nos. on new belt, all same as on old. Several attempts to fit needed, new one shorter by approx. 2 inches to used and stretched one. Persevered, taking care not to trap fingers!!, Spin to check lined up to, and centered on motor pulley. Power and water on, and try m/c, perfect! watching available videos, makes it easy. Thankyou e spares,

  Genuine belts just work 24 August 2013

  There is a knack to fitting this type of stretch belt ,they always seem to be too short .Only thing to be careful of are the sharp edges on the washing machine,they can be razor sharp.Takes only about 10mins to fit a relatively easy DIY job.

  Drive belt replacement 19 March 2013

  Astonishing. My wife was all for buying a new machine, but a few clicks to the eSpares video and a screwdriver plus 15 minutes and god as new. I was surprised at how much the old belt had stretched as it seemed tight enough on the machine.

  Replaced at same time as brushes 18 March 2013

  My machine had stopped rotating on wash or spin cycles, I thought it was probably the brushes, but decided to replace the drive belt at the same time. My model had an easy 'access panel' to the belt at the back - so no problems following the instructions from the video.
