  Hose for clothes dryer' 30 April 2018

  Had to obtain this for an elderly relative who wanted to keep her machine going but the external hose had perished which meant the machine was venting into her kitchen which was a wholly unsatisfactory situation. I initially bought a generic competitor product, however I was not aware then that these hoses have handed threads meaning I could not fit this hose successfully. I searched for hoses against the model code for the dryer on my second attempt to get a suitable replacement and the E spares site came up. I have previously bought from them and this order was fulfilled efficiently and to my relief fitted perfectly onto the vent mount. My relative would in the absence of this part have bought a new machine so this was a big saving and also avoided a lot of disruption for her.

  Item adequate, but not particularly thick and robust. Concerned it may not last very long compared to the hose it replaced. We will have to see how it bears up with use, but initially seems rather thin and fragile.
