  Stuck in the middle 29 October 2013

  Bought 2 and one snapped off after the first wash, the other is still going - 20 washes later! Disappointed.

  Check that the machine empty's from full in less than 45 seconds as debris in the filter or a blocked hose can cause this problem.

  Genuine replacement parts 13 June 2013

  I have now ordered 2 lots of these paddles for my Hotpoint. The paddles supplied are genuine parts, not cheaper imitations. Unfortunately, this is a major design flaw in these washing machines and the paddles break constantly. This IS NOT due to overloading or washing trainers etc. It is just a terrible design. Yet again my paddles have bust and can no longer bring myself to scrimp and scrape the cash together to order yet more just to have to keep replacing them. Espares offer a brilliant service, I am more than happy with them. Just extremely disappointed in indesit/hotpoint and will never buy their goods again!

  Not very sturdy at all 27 February 2012

  I bought three to replace the broken ones from my drum , however only two have stayed attached the third detached itself on the first wash load and has broken in exactly the same place as the originals.

  The item is easy to fit. However the three I have fit have all failed breaking the lugs off.
