  Impossible to fit 03 February 2014

  The part arrived OK - but could have done with some instructions. We watched the video but it did not relate to our hotpoint which seems to have a welded front cover. So getting the old seal off was hard putting the new one on proved to be impossible and a wasted Sunday afternoon. We have given up and called a washing machine repair specialist....

  Nightmare to fit 20 July 2010

  Materials turned up as usual with no problems at all, but fitting the thing was a different matter. Personally I am a competent tradesman and have been for twenty years but fitting this!! Getting the old one off was the easy bit, I tried to fit the new one for two hours then phoned the washing machine man, it was a nightmare, I just couldn't get it to fit all the way round then stay on, even with two pairs of hands. I normally mend all of the appliances in the house and have never been beaten before!

  Saved lots of money 02 October 2009

  Moms washing machine was in urgent need of a new seal. The quote for the job included the seal. The price they were charging was no where near how much I paid from e-spares. Therefore saved loads of money and mom is happy now she has a washing machine that doesn't leak or leave black rubber marks on her clothes! Quick service. There was a small fault on the seal but it didn't impact on the job.
