  This is the second set of bearings I've bought and changed. the first time it took 2 days to swap them this time only 4 hours. the bearings are excellent value. far better than a new washing machine.

  Hot point washing machine bearings 25 February 2016

  Had the washing machine years now but can not afford another machine. So i watched the how to vid, then decided I would give it a go. If its the first time you are attempting this mark up all your bolts and take photos on your phone before taking anything apart. Getting the bearing out will be a pain you will need to be persistent and it will eventually come out. Be carful not to lean or bend the inner drum (where clothes go) otherwise you will put the assembly out of balance and it will shake itself to bits. All that is needed is time and patients

  Quiet spin at last 14 January 2016

  Do not leave it noisy too long. In my case the water seal had melted into the bearings and casing. It took a day to get the old ones out !! Confusion with ordering the new ones. The website quotes a 30mm set or a 35mm set both compatible but neither being the set I eventually brought. Took the old ones out before ordering to find my machine had one 30mm and one 35mm bearing. Advise from the website resulted in the correct bearing set ordered and delivered within 24 hours. Fitting the new ones not simple but not very difficult providing you have some common sense, but if you have enough sense to strip down the machine and take out the old ones, fitting the new ones is not a problem. Fitted the new ones, put the machine back together and tested it the same day the parts arrived. Now works like a new machine and no more fighter jets in the kitchen for 10% of the cost of buying a new one. Well worth doing if you have the time.

  Washing Machine Bearing Kit 30 September 2015

  Slightly disappointed ... I changed these bearing only last October 2014 so I thought I would check my account's previous orders to see which bearings I needed, 35 or 30mm. Nothing listed. I phoned your help desk check which bearing I would need as my washing machine model was not listed in your web pages. Short and sharp, 'sorry can't help you,you will have to take you machine apart and measure the spindle diameter'. Hang on I had the same bearings from your last year ... oh ... pause, you need 35mm bearings. End of conversation. Went back online placed the order and arrived within two days ... very good ! Thank you.

  The Washing Machine bearings are working well but are a struggle to fit. 14 August 2015

  I knew that my washing machine bearings were failing due to the noise and radial the movement in the drum. eSpares had the bearings and I watched their video of how to fit them. As I have fitted ball bearings before I was not pleased to see a cold chisel used to both remove the old bearings and fit the new ones. Using a chisel can result in damage to the housing and bearings so a brass or mild steel punch or drift should be used. It also showed the bearings being removed from the housing fairly easily but in practice it seems that the bearings fail because water gets past the seal and rusts them. They also get rusted into the housing and to get them out you need more professional kit than shown on the video and lots of WD40! If you have changed rusty bearings before then go ahead, but if you haven't and you only have the usual household tools then you should think about a new washing machine!

  GOOD VALUE AFTERMARKET KIT 13 May 2015

  This bearing set and seal arrived in ultra quick time next day delivery so 5 star service. I had already dismantled my machine so knew the correct sizes. The bearings are average quality generic replacements and were easy to fit but correct technique is vital. I am a retired mechanic so have access to all the professional installation kit. This job can be done without the kit by any competent mechanical person but if you have never done it before you need to take advice. I would certainly recommend this company because they have taken the trouble to include everything necessary without having to shop around. Video instructions on line are excellent. I will be using them again

  The old bearings had disintegrated and it took a lot of releasing fluid and patience, but well worth the effort, time and money.
