Great bearings kit. As another fitter advised, heat the bearing carrier within the plastic drum with a hot air gun or a hair drier. By sure to keep the hot air away from the drum and just heat the carrier. The bearings then take far less effort to remove. For a couple of hours work it is like a new machine......Well pleased !!

Bearing & seal kit for Hotpoint washer. 15 October 2014
Found this supplier online & is the first time I have used them. To date I have not fitted these items but they appear to be of good quality. The speed of delivery was quite impressive & the price was reasonable so I will use again when required.

Our Hotpoint WMA57 was starting to sound like a sack of hammers were in the wash, the drum bearings were obviously on their way out. First stop for spare parts was espares who I have used several times in the past. Was a bit confused as to why there was two sizes of bearing kits available for this model. Contacted espares who advised to open the machine up & measure the shaft diameter of the drum, then order the correct size kit. I had hoped to order the kit first so that I could replace the bearings all at the one time. As it turns out this was a better plan as I decided to check the condition of the motor brushes which were found to be almost worn out, so ordered a new set along with the correct bearing kit & a new seal for the tub. The spares arrived 48 hours after ordering. The machine was rebuilt using all the new parts & is good as new again. All in all, this was quite a big job taking several hours but with a satisfactory result.

Our hotpoint wt960 washing machine was running like a bag of nails and was loud enough to wake the dead,but the wife was happy with her machine so we decided to use e spares to get a set of bearings & drum seal.We matched the bearings on the site using our machines code & they were delivered quite quickley. The job of fitting the bearings took a few hours and was hard work but we also used the espares video for replacing bearings which was great as a rough guide. machine now silent again and we can hear each other talk again, hard work but worth the effort and good value for money.

ease of fitting -- big job not for the faint hearted , not a well known bearing therefore poor value . I recommend read the fine print regards price promise

Was happy to find they fitted perfectly and the selection for the parts pointed me to the correct size. Never would have dreamed of doing this work but was very easy couple of hours and the machine is now silent. We can hear the TV again!

Good replacement parts - solid support video 06 May 2014
Good part, supported by an excellent how to video. Only 3 stars for ease of fitting as you need to dismantle the entire machine to fit. Slots in to the housing with only gentle persuasion, but getting the old bearings out does require very careful use of force. I had some trouble getting the drum axle out of the bearing, and perhaps a FAQ on these types of issues would be a great addition to the instructions. (I ended up soaking with WD 40& leaving for the night). Other than that, very pleased& I will continue to use & recommend espares

Straightforward to replace 30 April 2014
Only worth replacing if the main axle is in good condition, if the axle and spider needs changing the decision as to repair or get new machine becomes real. As a car mechanic, job is very similar to changing wheel bearings on a car front hub. Change the seal where the two halves of the outer drum are joined at the same time. My machine is nice and quiet again so hopefully another 6-8 years use??

Model number of my machine was not listed - quick phone call to the 'help desk' soon sorted the problems out, bearings dispatched and arrived within 48 hrs. Video on this site to guide installation - but I must say it took a little more persuasion to remove my bearings than was intimated in the video - ha! All round - a most excellent service - thank you
