  "Universal" I don't think so 20 November 2013

  The oven seal arrived promptly but when coming to fit to my Homark oven I found that the top horizontal seal was half in the oven opening along with the top half of the two vertical side sections and therefore no good. This was because the two metal corner pieces supplied that pin the seal to the door where sharp 90 degree angles whereas the existing ones were curved and consequently held the seal just that couple of mm clear of the actual oven opening. I recommend that the existing pin clips are checked by feeling through the old rubber seal before purchasing

  Good product, good service 02 October 2013

  Good product, arrived in good packaging. When we ordered the product online we thought it was one piece you put on (like our old seal), but you have to cut the strip in 3 pieces and put it together with the provided metal corner pieces. Bit fiddely, but worked perfectly fine (guess because it is a universal seal).

  Might be ok on others but not for Cannon Keswick 30 September 2013

  It was easy to install but it is not ideal for the cannon Keswick as it has bumperstops on which stick out more than the seal so there was a gap. had to remove bumperstops. Some heat still escapes but it should do for now.

  If you're looking to buy this kit then you'll already know the astronomical price for the 'genuine' seal. Fear not - this seal is even better than the original, in my humble opinion. One important difference though is that the original is a ONE piece length that 'curves' round at the top corners of the goal post as it were. With this kit, you receive one length of rubber (with plenty to spare) - and you need to measure the two vertical lengths and the cross piece. You need to cut the corners to 45 degrees so that when you slide the metal hooks in, the corners meet and form a good seal. Also, cut the three lengths of rubber slightly short - the rubber needs to be under tension slightly to help keep the hooks in place. Try half an inch for the two verticals and one inch - or slightly more - for the cross piece. I've completed my fitting and I'm over the moon with the result.

  Simple and cost effective beyond belief 09 April 2013

  Thought this product was probably too good to be true, as so much cheaper than other products on offer on the web. Having bought it and had it delivered in no time, I was pleased to be proved wrong. It was extremely cheap, but is also incredibly effective, easy to fit and has stopped me having to spend a fortune buying the wife a new cooker!Happy days.
