  Always the bit that goes on a modern dishwasher 01 February 2010

  At first I thought "Oh my, it's a different colour, i.e. grey, but it 's a perfect fit - useful to ease the rubber seal with a little washing-up liquid, and TAKE ONE'S TIME ABOUT IT.

  Very pleased to be able to get this through e-spares, saved a fortune on phoning for a Bosch operative to supply and install. However, my husband found it was a bit difficult to actually fit, and took a couple of hours. Needs firm pushing to click into place.

  Good product 20 November 2009

  Although the product, detergent dispenser,was very good there were no fitting instructions. I managed to complete it but there were 2 plastic claw like pieces that I could find no obvious place to fit.

  Perfect part and easy to fit 17 October 2009

  This part is an easy fit, however as other reviewers have said you can't get the old one out without cutting off the plastic lugs on the old part. I would recommend using a stanley knife (carefully) to slice the old lugs off near the body of the assembly. The new one can then be clipped firmly into place. One other tip - if like me you find you have 2 plastic wedges rattling about in the door panel when you remove it, they go back on to the metal hinge assembly on either side.. the flat face of the 'wedge' facing the inside of the door. They should only fit one way, slotting into a small recess in the metal hinge.

  Exactly the right item - I was slightly worried as I couldn't find the exact detail of my old Bosch. However there were no fittig instructions - so here goes! 1. Unplug from mains 2. Remove stainless steel cover with torx screw driver, leave the two larger screws each side that hold the hinges in place. 3. There is a cable tidy which is attached to the inside of the dispenser - remove carefully 4. Unplug the connectors to the old dispenser then carefully cut the top plastic lugs off the old dispenser and it will come away easily. Beware the stainless steel edges are sharp. 5. Replacement is a reversal of the removal. Press the new dispenser in firmly as it must 'click' into place to be secured by the stainless steel lugs. In all it took me 35 mins and has worked perfectly well since.
