Excellent service ordered on a week end advised it had been dispatched before the Monday, Arrived Monday and fitted that afternoon, new unit fitted well, some difficulty in pushing it in far enough due to the new rubber seal but managed it with a little persuasion, excellent spare. Video was very helpful

Very expensive component i thought and not easy to fit. Fortunately we found a video online explaining how to do it. All in all however, it does the job.

Siemens Edition 150 Dishwasher. Good service again from espares 31 October 2012
This item arrived again with no fuss in Australia, quicker and better value that can be bought here. Fitting was not as easy as in the video. I struggled to re engage the metal tags on the inner door with the plastic body, and they are very sharp so watch out! Not a job for the DIY dunce I would suggest? I resorted to using the original seal to get it in. Also the supplied unit did not have the cutout in it for the plastic drain assy fitted to our machine. The body had the cutout marked but no hole. I made the hole myself and it then fitted. This might be my error as the dispenser was not listed for a Siemens Edition 150 washer, but as all the Bosch Siemens machines are so similar, I took a guess. So not espares fault, but mine. Now I have to replace the lower door seal as it was perished and split when I attempted to clean it! Another parcel on its way down under from the great crew at espares. Thanks.

Not as easy as the video shows 01 June 2020
I deliberately ordered the official Bosch unit rather than the alternative then tried to follow the video and the old one wouldn't budge. A close inspection showed that my dishwasher had fixings at both ends as well as the ones in the video. With these released as well, the old unit came out. Then fitting the new one proved troublesome. Despite pressing hard enough to buckle the door a bit, I could not get it to click in all round. I straightened the door as best I could then replaced the new rubber with the one from the old unit as some one else had suggested. It almost clicked in but not quite. I had to make a wooden support for the door so that I didn't buckle it again when I leaned really hard on the new unit and it did finally click into place. Over two hours it took for something the video showed as being really simple. I did eventually succeed but it was hard work!
