  Bosch design Fault 30 December 2015

  Terribly expensive for what is basically a Bosch design fault. This opinion is confirmed by the stronger white plastic now used for the new drawer and the fact that the other upper drawer is now cracking.

  Not robust enough! 10 March 2013

  It is probably unfair to criticise this replacement as in itself it is a perfect copy of the original. As I see it, the only issue I have with it is the inordinate amount that its costs - I note that there are several freezers for sale on eBay, that would cost less than just this replacement basket! The real problem is that the makers have not taken into account that effects of long term freezing on this, rather flimsy, plastic material which, when frozen, is inclined to crack. This weakens it and eventually the cracks expand until they are in need of replacement. Oh how I wish manufacturers would look at long term issues rather than the cost of using cheaper materials for larger profits!

  Not your fault, but the drawer is made of a brittle plastic and when fully loaded is not adequate . Had no choice but to pay the high cost

  It's what you would expect - but at a high price. 31 October 2012

  If you order a Bosch plastic bin then you expect a really first class part. Well, sorry. The quality of this genuine made-by-Bosch part is just as flimsy as the one that came with the freezer when it was new. I'm not blaming espares: mine arrived damaged despite excellent packaging. There were no signs of damage to the packaging itself, so it probably arrived damaged at espares warehouse. espares despatched me another immediately I phoned them, and the return and replacement were free to me. Wonderful service and low delivery charge - I'll buy from espares again.

  The replacement basket was exactly as described and seems to be of expected quality. It does seem rather expensive though.....
