  The female hooked end needed to fit the Hotpoint compact within its confined space. The original hose rubber was firm enough to be a push fit and remained in place without leaking. The rubber on this replacement is much softer and blew off immediately. Have a hose clip handy for both ends.

  Great item 22 February 2010

  I got one of these after my original one got squashed at the back of my dishwasher, esapres get it to me in 3 days and having taken out the old broken one myself, the fitting was easy. All in all a great piece of kit it does the job for about the quarter of the price you pay for an original drain hose.
