  Just The Job 18 March 2021

  Hoover washing machine stopped mid wash, error code suggested motor fault. After a quick inspection discovered brushes were low. Could not find spares from hoover (they wanted £120 for a new complete motor). Anyway, i loooked at motor nameplate and did a spares search based upon the CESET motor and came up trumps - this product was identified. Ordered early evening and they arrived the following day - for just over 15 quid delivered. Fitted like a dream, after cleaning up the comm of course and machine was away again. The only minor issue was you had to bend the crimp spades 90 degrees to fit the wires (as has been previously mentioned in other reviews, plus i used a couple of small cable ties for the speed encoder wiring) - but that was no bother. All in all a job well done. Can't comment on life of this product as they only done about a dozen cycles at the time of this review........ i guess time will tell.

  I ordered this part and was delivered next day after watching video of HOW TO fitted the item in about 1 hour, had to remove back of machine and then remove the motor but as in the video it was reasonable straight forward, *****+* Many Thanks

  The detailed product photographs helped me select the correct carbon brushes for a Tricity Bendix washing machine. There is so much useful information on this site togther with the customer support the correct part can always be found. An after market motor was fitted so it was impossible to track down spares from the model number alone. Thanks to guideance from espares and the detailed product photographs it was painless. Thank you espares.

  Good Product that did the job. 15 August 2020

  I needed new carbon brushes for my Candy Grand O Vita washing machine , GV 169TWC3W/1-80 with a C.E. SET motor MCA61/64-148/CY23. I could not find any CESET carbon brushes compatible with my washing machine or motor anywhere. After reading previous reviews I decided to try these. They were quick to fit and my washing machine now runs perfectly.

  Right second time! 26 May 2020

  Wanted motor brushes for a Hotpoint DXOC 410C3/1-80 however the model search only called up a replacement motor. Removed the motor which was manufactured by C.E.SET which has the product reference MCA 61/64-148/CY25 but again no brushes linked to this particular motor reference. Ordered incorrect brushes first time around which have been returned and refunded without a problem however it was only when I read the customer reviews that I selected what turned out be suitable set of brushes. I say suitable as the replacements do not mirror the original design exactly but they seem to be a high quality alternative product which supports a number of C.E.SET motors. As identified by others, the spade connections required bending through 90 degrees and there is no clip to secure the tacho wires however I used a zipper clip to secure to another wire. In summary, I only found a suitable replacement due to other customer feedback hence I wanted to share my experience.

  great value spare brushes for Indesit washer drier with CESET motor. fits easily. Brushes have the correct angle pre-ground on to them Only slight differences from manufacturer parts are : no clip for motor speed sensor wiring and the spade connector is at 90 degrees but these differences had no effect on performance

  Always check the photo against the old part 19 October 2018

  This part was not the one recommended for my washing machine (Candy Sprint 1300 CNA 135-80) but the carbon brush recommended didn't look anything like the one I'd taken off so I scrolled through all the carbon brushes until I found these, which fitted perfectly and my machine is now working perfectly. So it seems at least some of these machines that are supposed to have Sole motors have Ceset motors instead. Double check before you buy, I'm glad I did.

  Great buy, first class service and a first class fix 23 August 2018

  These were less than half the price of 1 single carbon brush available from the washing machine manufacture. Why would you go anywhere else? Next day delivery available if you need parts in a hurry.
