As with previous reviews , it took me a while to work out how to fit the floor tool.Having done this, the hoover works perfectly and I think that this floor tool is even better than the original part, much more sturdy.

The vacuum cleaner was for the chop, though only 3 years old. Floor tool wouldn't click from "carpet" to "floor" mode. Then I discovered espares and my life changed. The Universal is easy to fit and works perfectly. The adaptor is very easy to adapt!

When I unwrapped it I just didn't get it, It was too big for my vac's tube....until I realised why its called the universal! You turn its screw fitting to make it fit your tube, and what genius came up with that one. It really works, and (say this quietly) is better than the original because this one you can adjust the height of the brushes for carpet and floor. Thanks again, brilliant piece of kit.

The actual unit is very well made,good value for money and works well. However, actually getting it to fit our 30mm hose tube caused much scratching of heads (no instructions)as it appeared to be much too big. Eventually it dawned on us that you push the rubber grommit into the fitting and then insert the metal tube into the grommit through the large ferrule. A tight fit is not effected until you screw the ferrule down. Easy when you know how! We nearly sent it back!

We have been struggling with an older, bargain basement , wet/dry Karsher 900. This tool fits the pipe work and transforms it into a really useful cleaner.
