  Purchased as a replacement for my Henry Hoover but it is no good & drags when used with the brushes off when used on carpets. I should have paid a bit more for the genuine part!

  Bought for a 30mm fitting, which requires screwing down the fitment as far as you can. Having done that the head wobbles and turns when vacuuming - despite this, the head is difficult to remove from the wand.

  two problems 27 November 2012

  1- The description of the product is not precise: I have received a 30.5-38 mm instead of 30-37 mm and being my vacuum tube extension of 30 mm, it has created a bit of problems. I am now trying to see if it works, before even starting the painful procedure of sending it back. 2- In general, this product (universal adaptor) is OK, feels a little unstable, I suppose it would be better with an original one.

  ok does basic job 30 August 2010

  bought this because of price and it being universal, its good for wooden floors but very poor for carpet as the brushes seem to catch on carpet making it hard work moving the brush itself forwards an backwards, i wouldnt buy this again because of this,, its a good sturdy brush in general but if it doesn work well then it can be a waste of money.

  You get what you pay for 27 February 2010

  Bought one of the above universal floor tools as the genuine Miele one is over £40-00 so I suppose that one costing £10 has got to have some drawbacks. The overall build quality is good but what lets it down is that the collar you turn to get it to grip on the vacuum tube is only threaded on two sides not all the way around the inside of the periphery and therefore the collar is not rigid enough and when tightened tends to jump on the threads. Needs a thicker wall to the collar and a full thread.
