  Does the Job but could be better 16 June 2011

  We bought this part as a replacement for a Panasonic vacuum cleaner with a 35 mm tube. The good news is that it does the job and is a reasonably-priced substitute for a hard-to-find item. The disappointing part is that it is hard to get the adjusting collar tight enough to lock the tool to the tube. The threaded portion should perhaps be longer.

  This adaptor does the job (enables the vacuum to suck) but unfortunately is no match for the original Miele floor tool.

  Does a great job but a bit of a faff 31 January 2011

  After months of my original tool from my 4.5 year old Miele not picking up well anymore it is great to see my carpets looking like new again after vacuuming. As I change the vacuum tools for different jobs it is a bit of a faff having to unscrew/screw and occasionally the tool is left behind even though it was well screwed on. Generally a good buy though.

  Good for universal size vac pipes but vac plate tends to stick to floor when on high power.Seems to need something to lift it away from floor, like small wheels, which would help.

  Bought this Universal Floor tool as the own brand was so expensive, it is ok and picks up well, but has a slightly smaller head and it doesn't always stay flat to the ground also when the brush is down it does not fit under my bed which is very low to the ground, luckily I have kept the old head so can use it when doing under the bed
