Unless you are a DIY person with requisite tools and some knowledge of what you are about then I would suggest using the genuine article only! At least you will know it was made to fit. This item is too far way, size-wise to be an reliable fit on the Zanussi machine I purchased it for.

the hose was what i ordered and would have done the job except that it was really to long and could not really be cut to fit(i don't think)would be good if it was made in a shorter size , and for the size'es of either end's to be advertised for the customer and not just printed on the bag the hose came in . other than that have no complaints. thank you.

a dry floor at last!! 18 October 2013
Came home from holiday to find a small flood in utility room due to split in hose - now lovely and dry as my gorgeous husband fixed it with this new hose. The only difference in this hose to the original is that the original had a 90 degree bend at the machine end of the fitting - this one doesn't but hubby got around that easily enough. I was very pleased with the delivery time - arrived three days after order, very well packed and a good price - happy all round!!!

Was a little bit of a fiddle to fit, but no major problems, wish I had gone for the longer hose, forgot to allow for distance from pump to outlet area.

The hose is described as universal and this is not the case. My wife had purchased one from a plumbers merchants and that did not fit so I was unsure about your written description which mentioned interior/exterior dimensions. A chat-box appeared as I was viewing and I asked the assistant for help and mentioned the description on-line. He said he could only help with part numbers??? After studying the photo which looked similar to the original I took a chance and ordered. It turned out to be correct. I believe the description should be altered to describe a waste pipe with two different size endings - one of 22mm and the other of 29mm and not mention interior and exterior measurements which misled.
