  Disappointed 29 May 2012

  Very sad that there are no fitting instuctions with this item to allow for double checking the fitting. Sad to say that the spool head melted and freewheeled within 5 minutes. I shall be looking for something better. Service from espares was very good though. Just the product which wasn't

  Poor Quality Product 27 July 2011

  Product was not up to standard of the original McCulloch spool head assembley. Easily fitted and worked fine at first. After only a few hours work the plastic began to melt over the spindle and eventually went into 'freewheel'. After several hours removing the melted plastic from the spindle, I had to revert back to the original McCulloch assembly and discard this product. I am now looking for a reliable product from anoher supplier.

  A relief and a doddle ! 25 July 2011

  Excellent service:- clear web-site, easy search. Prompt despatch and delivery. Item was a doddle to fit and saved wasting time hunting locally for a supplier. Strimmer was bought at B&Q but, of course, they don't keep spares now, do they ! I can strongly recommend eSpares and will use them again when needed.

  mcullock spares. 03 May 2009

  I was unable to get the Mcullock 300x strimmer spares localy ,thought I may have to scrap it because the line spool was worn out,the rest was in good order,found you on ebay,I can only say the service was exellent and wil alway look here first from now on.

  Does what it says on the box 16 March 2009

  This is the second one of these I have bought, I put the first one on wrong and it melted within seconds. I was more carefull with number two and it works fine. Detailed fitting instructions would be nice though. Just goes to show you don't have to junk old kit, just take a little time think a bit and fix it for a fraction of the cost of buying new!
