  Misleading description 23 November 2010

  This product is described as a Universal Washer/Dryer Stacking kit. It is nothing of the sort. It is merely a cover to hide the interface between the two component parts. It offers no structural benefit to the new configuration whatsoever, which in my view is misleading with the use of the term "stacking kit".

  cheep bits of metal no clarity where the insufficient foam padding goes and the spring to hold it together too weak for the job so broke - had to buy a different type seperatly

  Simply put do not buy this product it's potentially lethal. the flimsy clips pop apart, the spring works free, I wouldn't use this if my life depended on it. Waste of money.

  universal stacking kit 16 January 2009

  Personally I don't think this is very safe , If the top item is pushed the unit spreads outwards and the units comes apart. I made a aluminium brace for mine and replaced the spring. It is now a safe unit.

  Misleading product name... 14 January 2009

  Title of tacking Frame is "Universal" - but it isn't! When fitted to a Hoover "Optima"/"Vision HD" system, the washing machine's dispenser drawer is inoperable and some of its control labels are obscured. Product would have been reasonably OK if allowance had been made for this...but, the instructions weren't clear as to where and how the adhesive foam should be fitted, and also, it will only work if the tumbler's feet are removed, and I am concerned that the tumbler instructions state categorically that the bottom vents should not be obstructed. Potentially a good, useful product which hasn't yet found the mark!
