  If your ordering this bracket, I would suggest you order the small plastic bearings that holds the bracket arms - Saves on time and two shipping costs. It would be good if the web iste suggested this too when ordering a bracket. Ive got the bracket so far - it seems identical to the origional. Ive used e spares before - great experience

  Be careful when fitting bracket 12 February 2013

  This is the second bracket that i have fitted to this machine in the past 2 yrs , and in each case the arms of the bracket had fractured off i am not sure if it is a design fault or too much use by my wife. What i can advise is be careful when removing the bracket remove one screw and loosen the other , then fit new bracket. Do not remove both as the back plate will fall off , you need to hold the back plate by pressing firmly through the rubber of the internal drum holding it in place. Hope this helps ,remember don't let the bracket come adrift completely from back plate or it will cause you grief in fitting

  Replacing door hinge 13 August 2012

  This item meets the job it has to do, however the pins are the weak point. If you have had to change this item, get a spare, you may well need to replace it again in the future. Easy to replace, if youre clever you don't even need to get inside the machine. Change one screw at a time making sure that you don't drop the rear plate inside the machine!

  Why did you do this CREDA !! 25 January 2012

  Very simple to remove old hinge and fit new one... However, why do CREDA not fit captive fittings on the machine door hinge. When hinge was unscrewed, the retaining fitting dropped inside machine. This meant pulling the machine out of a row of fitted units, and scrabbling around inside it to refit the door !!

  Saved getting an Engineer or bying a new machine 23 January 2012

  Door hinge not so easy to fit 07 December 2011

  After watching the you-tube video, I decided that I could change the hinges myself without an engineer. I was surprised to find that when you take off the door hinge there is a back plate inside the washing machine that dropped to the bottom of the machine. No mention of being careful in case this happened on the video. Changing a hinge meant that the control panel had to come off, the front panel had to be loosened to retrieve said plate before I could even think of putting the new hinge on. Not too happy I think would sum up my mood!
