  Unusually Poor Design for Miele 31 March 2017

  This does not reflect in any way on eSpares, but the design of this part of the vac leaves a lot to be desired. The bend at the top next to the suction release takes some strain when the long handle attachment is fitted. The plastic is too thin and needs to be thicker or requires reinforcement. It was delivered on time, but I thought it rather expensive. ------

  Vacuum hose bent end replacement 03 March 2009

  This product is the only item for sale in the spare parts selection that seemed to replace the broken part in our 'cat and dog' Miele hoover. On receiving it we discovered it contains no holes for the 'lugs'on the flexible tube end to fit in, to secure the fitting. We have had to use tape to secure it. Perhaps we have the wrong fitting but couldn't see anything else?!Ordering and delivery service good.

  A Design Weakness 22 January 2009

  I have rated the product as "average" because I feel that its design is flawed. I think that the manufacturers suspect that there may be a weakness, because they have tried to strengthen the bend by adding a stiff wire insert. The bend broke without undo pressure being applied. Have Miele considered making the bend using a light metal?
