  Fast repair, perfect fit 06 October 2018

  I purchased this part for a 9 year old Electrolux EKC5544K free standing cooker. I ordered the element on the evening the oven broke, I paid for next day delivery. I received emails and text messages saying when it would be delivered (one hour slot), and delivery came mid-day the next day so plenty of time to install it. Unlike the grill element of the EKC5544K , changing the fan oven element is very easy - just watch the eSpares video. The EKC5544K is similar to the one in the video except the door hinges to the side and so it does not need to be removed. Be careful with the two power wires, one of mine was a lot shorter than the other, and had I let go of it, it might have fallen back into the body of the oven. Also make sure that the fan can turn without touching the element / mountings. I needed to loosen the mounting screws of the element and re-align it to ensure the fan did not touch. One thing I am not sure of, is why eSpares have two elements listed with this "High quality" one being half the price of the other.

  Bought this to replace the dead one in our oven.   I'm really pleased we had a go at replacing the element in our Electrolux oven ourselves as it worked out much cheaper. Easily identified the element that we needed and the video was extremely helpful when it came to fitting. The element itself looked just like the one that we removed and it has worked fine. There was an unpleasant smell at first as whatever preservative was burnt off but that didn't last long.

  Good value and quick delivery but espares will subsequently bombard you with promotional email which I find a bit irritating. "I know where you are should I need anything else, you sent a fridge magnet", "stop with all the junk mail cluttering up my inbox"
