  Good quality alternative Dyson hose 18 September 2020

  Needed to replace the extending hose I clumsily burst on our DC40. This part looks to be a well made alternative which was easy to fit in less than 2 minutes, however the hose has 2 kinks due to being bent around inside the polythene bag it is packed in. This is not visible when fitted to the vacuum, I'm hoping they will straighten themselves out with use and time.

  Arrived a day early but hose had been quashed in packing resulting in slight kink in hose , hoping it will drop out in time . Othetwise pleased .

  Arrived promptly, looks same as original which had split right in the middle of decorating! Fitted slightly differently needed twisting around slightly to be in same position, but hopefully doesnt affect performance. Dyson now sounds a little different, doesnt grab carpet so hard, but appears to be sucking up as well as before
