  Decent Quality But Doesn't Fit 15 April 2021

  The hose arrived quickly and was of a good quality but it is too long to fit on our Dyson DC55 Upright.

  Poor replacement item 22 January 2021

  Fitting to the vacuum cleaner was easy. When using the expanding hose with an attachment fitted directly to it (used on stairs) the locking socket on the end of the hose (complete with attachment) kept coming off. On examination, the locking socket has only two locking pegs, one large and one small. The original Dyson socket has one large and two small locking pegs. This locking socket easily twists off, the original Dyson one does not. Further examination revealed the small peg wasn't locking properly because the edge of the slot through which it protrudes was overlapping the bottom edge of the locking peg. After trimming away the overlapping plastic with a modeller's scalpel, the locking socket attachment locked correctly on to the hose. Also, the red locking button does not lock on the attachments securely.

  Reasonable for the money. 07 July 2016

  I found the purchased hose to be not the same quality as the hose on the machine. But it does the job and we'll see how long it lasts.
