  Your how to replace video very helpful, but I found the actual clips on the corners too short with the thickness of the new seal holding it away from the oven door until all clips in place. I had to resort to clamps on each top corner until bottom fittings attached. Clips should be 3mm longer.

  Too thick for oven door to close properly 23 May 2017

  Am leaving three stars for the extra-speedy delivery service and the excellent video that shows how to measure up and trim this product to your required size: all fantastic. However the product itself was useless for my Baumatic oven: far too thick which meant the door could not close properly once the seal was fitted. Trying to trim the seal was not an option so the product has been binned. So this is a universal seal, but only partially so. The Baumatic oven that I have is now discontinued and so I was unable to buy a Baumatic part to do the job. Oven replacement now on the horizon. Very disappointed.

  The quality is very good and easily assembled, but it is not universal. It was to fat for my oven and would not hook on properly. Therefore it is worth checking to see if it actually fits the oven it is bought for.

  Seal is thicker than original 28 August 2016

  Purchased to replace perished seal on Miele oven. Profile of rubber is thicker than original so door is no longer flush with frame, but doesn't seem to allow heat to escape. Very fair price when compared against over £100 for branded Miele replacement.
