  Only worked after adapting the seal ourselves. 03 January 2022

  This worked for us, but only after we sliced off the protruding triangle of rubber from the seal, all the way around it. We used the ridge either side to place our cut, but, after you've got it going with the knife, you should be able to simply peel back the unwanted ridge using your fingers. The door would not close properly prior to us adapting the seal in this way. It would have been useful if the manufacturer had explained that this adaptation may be necessary with some ovens.

  Oven heats up 16 December 2021

  Does what it says on the site. No more heat loss. Very easy to fit, job completely finished In around 30 minutes.

  DON’t buy it! 29 November 2021

  This was terrible! The metal hooks kept sliding out of the seal when trying to fit despite following the very detailed “stretch” chart with all the measurements. Watched the video but not helpful in practice. NOT universal just vaguely similar. Re fitted the old one (which even in its worn condition was a better fit!) and other went straight in the bin. Shall try again to re order right Rangemaster seal but was struggling to find one for my single oven. Don’t bother with this!

  Hooks are the wrong size for Neff oven 23 November 2021

  The part of the hook which goes into the hole in the oven just isn't long enough to keep the new seal in place. Total waste of money. Do not buy.

  Hotpoint door seal 20 November 2021

  Original seal hanging off our Hotpoint oven letting lot of heat out price of genuine part £40 so I thought id try the universal door seal(much cheaper) After watching the video it seemed easy enough bit worried about getting the measurements correct but i managed it measured and then cut it shorter according to instructions. Its been on a week now. So far so Good. Only issue is being a tight fit have to close the door firmly otherwise it pops back open. Pleased with it so far

  It fits around the door and clips into place but the door doesn’t shut properly it’s too deep. Absolute waste of money. Don’t buy.

  Siemens Oven seal problem 12 October 2021

  I ordered this replacement main oven seal for my Siemens cooker. The website said it was compatable.I was a bit concerned that the seal was of a different type to the original, however I cut the seal to the required length and then fitted it all together. However the clips were of the wrong shape to enable the seal to fit. After a number of attempts I binned it and ordered "genuine" parts from one of your competitors. Wont waste my money again by using your company .
