  Unfortunately, the Universal 4-Sided Oven Door Seal is not universal. Fitted to my oven, the door does not close fully & the oven will not hold its heat in use. Pity since eSpares is a reliable company, with excellent instructional videos & good products – but not this one. Definitely not recommended.

  The website says its compatible. It is not! The rubber profile is too large after cutting and fitting, which is the only way to find out, the oven cannot shut closed!

  Now before I start, the espares website does advise you to order the OEM replacement part if possible, alas, mine was not available. The kit is very easy to use and if you follow the espares video, you will have no problem. I used a little washing up liquid to help the inserts into place, but all you really need is a tape measure and a pair of scissors. This universal door seal is very thick, and for my oven, actually held the top of the oven door away, thus causing a leak. Another reviewer of the product trimmed the seal, but I simply put the old one back on. The seal is easy to fit but over priced, and in my case did not work. You may still find this perfect for your oven, and with trimming should fit all.

  Not fit for purpose on my Beko oven. 11 October 2018

  I watched your video prior to fitting so knew what to do.Unfortunately, the holes on my oven door are right in the corners of the groove which makes it impossible to fit the clips in facing downwards. Also on the original seal the clip pins are longer, slightly shaped, and face outwards. Therefore your universal seal does not fit my oven. The model number for my oven is oim22300x.

  The problem is that the thickness of the rubber is far grater then the original seal and a different shape making it totally unsuitable for purpose after cutting to size and fitting the door on the oven whold not stay closed a total waste of money in my opinion
