  Very,Very Disappointed with item-Not universal for all cookers 12 February 2018

  I have a Hotpoint HUE52P cooker and wherever I tried the seal for this cooker was out of stock. I therefore purchased this one. I was very disappointed .It is not universal for all cookers.The metal hooks that go into the holes are just not long enough. They just do not go into the holes . After a long time trying to get them to fit I gave up. I then decided to try the metal corners in the original seal that had split in half as the hooks that goes into the hole is a lot longer. I was able to get the new metal corners out of the new seal by very carefully turning each of the 4 seals whilst holding on to the metal corner. They did come out without any damage to the seal. I think if I had tried to pull them out I would have split the new seal. I used the old metal corners in the new seal. Hopefully it will hold on until I can get the proper seal from Hotpoint. I can only give only 1 star for each of the ratings . However I was pleased with the ease of ordering and how quick the item was delivered.

  basic idea is Ok but quality of clips is poor just keeps falling off my oven cheaply made and not suitable for the job ALSO MORE EXPENSIVE THAN A GENUINE ONE

  Easy to cut and install the corner pieces. Impossible to fit to the oven!

  Bought it as a universal fitting but it didn't fit. Basically it's too thick for my oven door so with this seal fitted the door won't close. For my application, useless.

  Waste of time 27 December 2016

  Once fitted, the oven door wouldn't shut properly as the seal is too stiff and thick so that the bottom of the door closes first and the seal won't compress any more. Bought an original Baumatic seal which was 7 times the price but works perfectly.

  Searching for oven door seals is hard enough. This product is for rounded corners but is not the correct one for a Hoover double oven because the seal is fitted to the door and not the frame. it clearly did not fit

  Good purchase but doesn't fit 19 April 2016

  The actual quality and ease of fitting the seal is excellent but I have a cooker that is no longer available due to the company closing down years ago. The make is cookers appliances, this rubber was recommended but due to how the door is made this seal actually stops the oven closing properly as the lower hinges are rigged, most cookers have a slight spring in them which means this would have fitted perfectly but as mine doesn't I had to trim the top of the seal off all the way round to get any sort of seal at all. This is the reason I have rated one star, not due to its quality or ease of fitting.
