  The right product at the right price 15 February 2016

  It came on time and did the job at a reasonable price. The only problems I had were my own fault - I should have looked on the internet before trying to disconnect the old flex and replace it with the new one. As soon as I did look on the internet a difficult impossible task became easy. So I recommend espares combined with the internet to fix things yourself at a really low price.

  New flexible cable 04 January 2016

  The quality of the flexible cable was good but as it is a universal cable to fit many appliances such as my Dyson DC24, I also needed a couple of insulated butt connectors which I had in my tool box. If you can manage simple electrical repairs with basic tools then this flexible cable will serve you well.

  Dyson Vacuum Repair 26 November 2015

  The original mains cable was slightly damaged but I chose to replace it rather than making an insulated repair. The cable is not a standard Dyson spare and is black in colour, not grey. It was a simple job to open up the handle casing and expose the main switch. I needed to source some replacement spade connectors to change over the cable as I did not have any to hand. Once armed, the changeover was easy to effect as was the closing of the casing. Ensure that the connectors are really secure prior to closing up.

  12m cable 25 November 2015

  The cable came with a UK 3 prong plug but no plug (kettle type) on the other end. Had to source this elsewhere.
