  Despite being advertised as compatible with our type of washing machine, the dimensions of the tab used to hold the brush spring (and hence brush) in compression, were not identical so I had to adjust the brush holders to ensure the brushes didn’t spring out in service.

  The brushes came next day and work well 14 September 2022

  I've never fixed a washing machine before, but my Bosch Logixx 7 stopped working with an F43 fault after 18 years of solid service. Like others found, the electrical terminal on the brushes are smaller than the original so I had to twist the tabs on the motor quite a lot to make them stay in place. The Logixx 7 needed the error resetting after the fitting. That proved quite difficult. All the advice on the internet talked about pressing the spin button and turning the dial in weird ways; my machine doesn't have a spin button!! What worked, I think, was to turn the dial to the spin cycle, then press both the rpm and start buttons at the same time. Pretty sure it was that; I was pressing random buttons in desperation and once the error was reset I couldn't recheck the sequence. The machine was a bit noisy for a couple of washes, but then settled after the brushes bedded in. I didn't know what to expect but that must be normal. Tips: - I couldn't just pull the motor out like they did in the video because the drum springs just took the force. I had to prise the motor off at the mounts with a screwdriver (easy). - If you didn't note which way round the brushes should go, there's an easy test to make sure they're put in right. Put each brush in both ways and rotate the motor by hand. If a brush is in the wrong way it's very noisy and very obviously wrong.

  Did the job but with some adjustment 25 February 2022

  These were recommended as a direct replacement for the motor brushes for my specific model Bosch washing. These do fit and the machine is running again, BUT the spade terminal/clip that should slot into the motor housing is smaller (narrower) than the original and will not hold in place correctly. To remedy, I had to slightly bend each of the small tabs on the brushes socket of the motor, to prevent the terminals from springing out of the fitting. That said, the brushes work, but do be aware to double check how snug the terminals fit to your motor.

  Simple Fix for Me 21 April 2021

  Simple fix for a DIYer as long as you are competent with removing the motor. Once removed I could see the brushes were worn out. I ordered these at 8.00pm and they arrived before midday the following day (next day delivery). Machine was back up and working within the hour. New brushes fitted a treat and quality looked identical to those being replaced. Very happy with service from espares.

  Awesome 13 November 2020

  Located in Belgium, the part took 1 week to arrive. However, when it did, all went well. The video did not match my machine so I found another on YouTube and followed that. Perfect. Saved 200€ at least on call out and part. Will use espares again (2nd positive experience already!)

  Siemens motor brushes 03 June 2020

  No problem with fitting after watching Bosch machine video. Clearing the fault code after re-assembly was confusing until I realised the spin button to press is actually the sensor bar under the spin speed light indicators. Original brushes lasted nine years so these should hopefully last the rest of the machine life.
