  Cheap & cheerful mistake 29 July 2016

  These knobs are a lot more flimsy than the originals, which themselves weren't exactly Miele. There were no instructions, and it soon became clear that for my size fitting, I'd need to saw the core in half. Probably normal for this sort of thing, but as I'm a cooker knob virgin I could have used a tip. Then again, the knob, once properly cored, fitted the cooker at the wrong angle so d'oH! I should've taken care of that earlier but now the core is stuck and the knob is wasted. Another useful tip would have helped here. Having learnt my lessons, I'll see if eSpares do a slightly better set of knobs.

  Will do for a while 03 May 2015

  Multi-product replacement knob that is quite a loose fit and could fall off quite easily. Not very similar to the knob that it is to replace - which is why I purchased 3 of them - but it looks such an inferior quality that I will use only one of them and as a temporary fix until I can get a genuine Hotpoint replacement.

  Cheaper than buying Baumatic knobs 21 January 2015

  Decided I had to replace 2/5 broken Baumatic gas hob knobs. The hob itself is 12 years old and looks fantastic, save for the poor quality knobs that gave up over time. Having had other gas work done in my house, shocked to discover that Gas Safe engineers now comment on anything else wrong with your gas appliances in the home. They passed my gas items BUT noted I had faulty knobs on gas hob!!! Baumatic knobs to replace would have cost me 3 times as much as they no longer supply these knobs, so would have had to have bought 5 to match. Instead, bought 5 of these for less money. They look OK - dead easy to fit (Baumatic's old knobs were harder to remove!) and work the controls fine. They aren't as posh looking as Baumatic's, but my view was they'd last as long as the hob will and I wasn't prepared to fork out over 100 quid for knobs to a whole hob that cost me 150 quid in a sale!

  Cooker knobs 11 January 2015

  Was not quite what I expected,after trying all fittings ended up using longer one for best fit but that meant that the knob stood out more than it should have but this cooker (belling) has been a nightmare getting the right knobs and none seem to last long.
