  Replacement at a fraction of the price! 18 October 2016

  These were purchased as replacement knobs for a Stoves cooker, where one of the original knobs had melted. They fit very well with the variety of shafts, and look almost the same as the originals. Best of all, they're almost 1/3rd the price of Stoves branded knobs!! Thanks espares!

  Simple solution to the problem 10 October 2016

  Existing hob control knobs had lost most of the chrome effect coating and looked shabby. There are no manufacturer replacements, so I was pleased to find these. The design is not the same as the original but they look good and work perfectly well.

  Some instructions about which way round to use the adapter might have been a good idea, I nearly thre this out thinking it wouldn't fit. But it does, it works, and it looks ok.

  Cheap & cheerful mistake 29 July 2016

  These knobs are a lot more flimsy than the originals, which themselves weren't exactly Miele. There were no instructions, and it soon became clear that for my size fitting, I'd need to saw the core in half. Probably normal for this sort of thing, but as I'm a cooker knob virgin I could have used a tip. Then again, the knob, once properly cored, fitted the cooker at the wrong angle so d'oH! I should've taken care of that earlier but now the core is stuck and the knob is wasted. Another useful tip would have helped here. Having learnt my lessons, I'll see if eSpares do a slightly better set of knobs.
