  The cooker hood works again 05 March 2019

  This was a straight replacement, the only problem with installing it was with it being a bit fiddly transferring a few of the wires over from the old one. Now the cooker hood works again, simple.

  Avoided need for an expensive replacement cooker hood 01 December 2017

  Part arrived quickly and was well packaged. Fitting was relatively easy but I should have photographed the circuit board to make sure I knew where all the connections had to be made! Wires are numbered except for the mains connections. Simple user error and a lesson learned. Excellent service from eSpares

  Cooker Hood Switch Panel Strip Light 03 May 2017

  Not fully sure I was ordering the correct part as the searching for the Britannia Hood model number on the website didn't entirely coincide with mine. Once ordered, delivery was swift. The part wasn't the easiest to fit as it required replacement of the PCB inside a cover unit to which access for removal was limited. All works OK now, but cannot help thinking a huge cost just to replace a faulty on/off light switch, as all the fan switch elements of the old switch still worked OK. Has anyone considered just selling the single replacement switch, which would make much more sense from a sustainability viewpoint?

  Britannia Cooker Hood Control Switch 21 March 2017

  Finally got my replacement part - though it took over 4 1/2 months to arrive. I understand that the delay was caused by Britannia not having the part in stock and not (presumably) thinking that it was important enough to make the enough parts to keep in stock to satisfy customer needs. When it did arrive it was easy to fit, however, and I had a fully-working cooker hood in 15 minutes. Very expensive for what it is, though.

  The first fan setting which is also the on and off switch does not activate the fan. The second and third setting does.
