  For those of you with a hard to turn beam adjuster... 01 December 2015

  I had this same problem with my torch but if you use a dry lubricant (such as is sold for zips, curtain tracks etc) and lightly lubricate both ends of the adjuster then it becomes smooth as silk. WD40 would probably work fine but apply it using a child's paint brush to both threaded ends rather than spraying the whole torch. Regards, Chris

  Would be great without the annoying fault 23 November 2015

  A nice solid torch, well balanced. But having put in the batteries and tightened the bottom cap, I found it didn't work. After messing about for some while I found that it switches on only if the bottom cap is left partially unscrewed. An irritating fault bit I decided sending it back would only add to the irritation. It does the job, but why oh why do manufacturers not properly test their products and get them right??

  Excellent torch 19 November 2015

  When the torch arrived, I inserted the batteries and switched on. Very large beam, but when I turned the focus down, the lamp holder fell off!! Replaced it and tried again. Every time I tried to alter the focus the lamp holder section of the torch either became very loose or it fell off. Quick call to E spares. I explained the problem. The gentleman I spoke to was very apologetic and said that a replacement torch would be with me the following day AND it was! This torch worked like a dream. It is an excellent torch and clearly I was very unlucky with the first one. I have no hesitation in recommending this torch to you

  Best torch I have ever owned 12 November 2015

  The adjustable beam from this pocket torch is very impressive. The beam cone can be adjusted from a couple of inches to over 3 feet across and the led light is sharp and crisp. I've bought two, they are so good. My old conventional torch of similar size is a joke alongside this LED model.
