  New power for your Irrigator 23 June 2016

  These batteries are an OEM direct replacement for the batteries in the Panasonic EW1211W DentaCare Oral Irrigator. You need the buy 2 new batteries in order to replace the original batteries. Replacement is a bit fiddly and unfortunately I couldn’t find a procedure on You Tube. Briefly you need to remove the two screws on the base. Then use a screwdriver to flip off the top cap where you will find the pump. Carefully disconnect the pump and you will find a further screw in the top. Remove this screw and then carefully push out the pcb and battery housing from the bottom of the Irrigator body. When removed you can carefully prise the batteries out with a screwdriver. Fit the new batteries and be careful to ensure that the white insulating washers are in place. There are also two white insulating washers from the original batteries which need to be fitted on end of the positive pole pins of the batteries. At this point it is a good idea to apply some silicone grease to the seals on the body of the Irrigator before you put it back together. All you need to do is now reassemble the Irrigator. I found this a bit tricky as it is a tight fit just carefully persuade the pcb and battery housing back into the body of the Irrigator. I found some silicone grease helped with this. Best of luck.

  Saved a lot of expense 01 March 2016

  By replacing the batteries in my Panasonic EW1211 dental irrigator I have saved the expense of replacing the whole product. Fitting was not difficult although some care was required. It is now working fine.

  Very difficult to find this part, Epares have it!!! I have made a order from France and I have got my part in one week. Part ok for Panasonic EW1211 (need 2 batteries), read Panasonic's manual fot fitting.

  I bought a pair of these batteries for my Panasonic EW1211 Oral Irrigator (the original batteries with the unit were no longer recharging). They arrived swiftly, in perfect condition and after fitting them and charging the irrigator for 15 hours, it's up and running again. Many thanks for supplying these and sending them so quickly!
