  New part arrived very quickly & fitted perfectly, Our trusty old Miele is now up & running again which is just as well as there was a mountain of clothes to wash !!. Very impressed as it has saved me a small fortune.

  Not the same quality as the Miele own brand. The element itself looks identical in manufacture but the spring washers supplied to provide earth bonding were useless and had no tensile quality to them so came loose during fitting causing some frustration. If you can save the washers off the original element may prove to be better. Otherwise a good value replacement at the price which is less then half the Miele original. Good tip for removing and refitting element, use soapy water solution on rubber seal to assist.

  Great way to keep an old Miele going (w806) 23 July 2013

  The kit supplied had all the extra spares needed to do the job, which you need because the rubber seal and fasteners tend to get damaged during removal. If you haven't done this on a Miele before it's worth noting that there are no nuts or screws holding or compressing the seal around the element and the only way the element stays in place is because there is clip deep inside the tub which can fur up badly and make removal difficult. This kit is good value and looks almost identical to the original.
