  Good solution to the need for another shelf when baking . Doubling as cake rack useful- it is much stronger than the usual ones as made of thicker wire. Easy to store as legs fold up. A bit smaller than the other shelves , but I suppose that makes it universal for other sizes of oven.

  Nice sturdy item useful for bottom of oven but also doubles as a cooling rack for cakes and biscuits. Far better quality than the extendable oven rack I bought at the same time.

  A simple idea but so effective 17 December 2019

  My main oven is a fan oven and has 2 shelves. The top oven, which I tend to use for thin items like chops is conventional and only has 1 shelf and you have to be careful not to obstruct the bottom, i.e. put a pan or plates on it. Using this shelf I have just doubled the top oven capacity. It is ideal for warming plates on and if cooking yorkshires, which require a high heat, the roasties can finish on this shelf, while the plates warm in the main oven. It has even been used to cool pies. Next week my wife will make a pork pie for Christmas, and this shelf will definetly be used to cook the pie low down in the oven and to cool it on.

  This item is a cost effective way of keeping trays etc just off the bottom of the oven and is perfect as an additional shelf - without the need of destroying any heating element sitting at the bottom of the oven. Wish I'd got one sooner!

  Dual Use: Oven Shelf & Cooling Tray 25 September 2018

  This was primarily bought as cooling tray, the fold away legs being most useful. It fits perfectly as an extra oven shelf.
