  This extra base shelf is made of quite thick gauge metal- in fact thicker and better chromed than the shelves provided with our Neff oven. It is a useful addition as it can be used as a low oven shelf or as a safe base for plate warming if you only have a single oven. Good quality, well chromed, good value and easy to fit.

  I purchased this item to give me a third shelf, it was not exactly what I was hoping or however it does do the job. The self sits on the bottom of the oven, and it also works well as a cooling try.

  Functional. Useful product 11 April 2013

  Seems practical especially if left on the bottom - no need each time to lower the legs. Lakeland's version is far too expensive. Your "Expertise" set of choices needs an extra category - e.g. Some/ Good experience? I've done a lot through inclination and necessity (150year old house), but fit none of the existing categories.
