  Cutlery basket 21 December 2013

  Points of knives had broken through the base of the old Miele cutlery basket. The slots in this basket are hold bigger knives point down and keep forks and spoons apart so that they get cleaned better. It's overall dimensions are a bit smaller than the old basket but that doesn't seem to affect stability or total capacity. Overall, a good purchase but still expensive for what it is.

  Universal Premium Cutlery Basket 31 October 2013

  When I first saw the basket I was concerned because it's smaller than my old one but then I realised that the bits that go on the top mean that you can put up to 72 pieces of cutlery in and they're all kept separate so they wash well. Also the spoons and forks hang so they don't damage the plastic at the bottom (which is what had happened to my old basket). You can remove one or more of the top pieces reasonably easily to put larger pieces of cutlery in. The three main sections aren't quite so easy to separate and put back together but it's handy to be able to use only part of the basket if you've got a lot of other things to wash. It seems quite sturdy but whether the bottom last longer than my old one remains to be seen.

  After the original Candy cutlery basket began to go all religious on us and allow things to drop through, it was time for a replacement. The e-Spares product does the job, was received in very quick time and was well packaged. Thanks again for a good service.

  Brilliant idea 03 September 2013

  Needed a replacement for old cutlery holder , saw this so gave it a chance . What an excellent idea , the ability to add/remove boxes helps it fit into any remaining areas after filling with dishes . Well worth the cost , and many thanks for the prompt delivery (as normal) .

  Straight swap 27 August 2013

  Not much to say really! This is a straight replacement for a cutlery basket that was in a second hand dishwasher, just needed to check that the footprint was the same as the original one. Espares did well in replacing the first item sent that was broken, no hassle at all. Well done!

  This cutlery basket does exactly what it says on the tin. The real test will be the time it takes before the bottom starts to break up. If it does at least a year then it is good. Being able to split it into 3 pieces is very useful, giving more options for placing in amongst crockery.
