  Could have been a bit thicker 02 March 2018

  Delivered very quick, our glass shelf broke when a jar from the top shelf dropped on it. The Plexiglas replacement was easy to cut to size, but I think it needs to be thicker, as its a bit bouncy. It will do for the time being need to find something to stiffen it up.

  Good value alternative if actual shelf not available 19 December 2017

  Cheap alternative which is easy to cut and fit in place. Material is a bit flimsy, so wouldn't like to put too much weight on it ( eg bottles etc). Also frosted so stands out if the rest of the shelves are clear.

  Did the job in the end. 07 June 2016

  I was aware that the plexiglass would need to be cut but it was more complicated than a straight edge as extra cut outs were needed to allow the shelf to be fitted without removing the door. The plexiglass needed to be stiffer for the span involved. Recovering edging and a metal stiffener from the old shelf rectified the problem. This was offered from entering a specific model number so should have been more compatible.

  OK, but not great! 19 May 2016

  Arrived on time, a little tricky to cut but OK if you go steady and at a shallow angle. Not as strong as the standard glass shelf, so it bends in the middle if loaded as you would usually load a fridge shelf. However the price for 2 shelves is WAY cheaper than the price for one if you buy a replacement glass shelf from the fridge manufacturer! With hindsight must remember NOT to turn the fridge temperature down to extra low in order to cool lager for friends visiting. It made a can of coke explode very dramatically shattering the glass shelf and causing immense damage / mess with tiny pieces of glass absolutely everywhere in the fridge!

  Good value, but a little weak 25 April 2016

  As written by other reviewers, can be cut easily as long the plexiglass is held firm! A little disappointed with the strength of it and don't think that much weight will be able to be put on the shelf.

  Ordered Shelves arrived very quickly, but are not very rigid! 05 January 2015

  Having the ordered the shelves just before the Christmas holiday, I was very pleasantly surprised to see that they arrived within about 2 days of ordering, which was excellent. Having read some previous reviews, I realised that it would be hard work to cut the shelves to size, but it wasn't too difficult. My main criticism is that the plexiglass is not very rigid and easily bends if a bottle of wine or similar heavy object is placed on them. Also, no shelf edging is provided, which might have helped to improve the shelf rigidity and also to cover my basic sawed edges. So I also thought that the shelves are expensive without any edging being provided. Having received the product, if I knew when ordering what I know now, I would have just purchased a large sheet of plexiglass and cut a number of required shelves from that directly.

  A bit too 'bendy'! 08 September 2013

  I finally managed to fit the two shelves in my fridge after takin them to a local woodbar to be cut to size (at extra cost) as I was afraid that I may spoil them if I tried myself. They look beautiful but they do sag in the middle and I think it would be a good idea to supply slide-on edges as my old ones do not fit these shelves, making them odd against the one that is already in. I have to be very careful as to what I put on them as I do not want to have to replace them again.

  Fridge shelves 08 August 2013

  Overall good but a bit thin. I cut the plastic with a tile cutter which was easier than expected.As edges are sharp , would have been better with a plastic edge cover

  Acceptable after trimming to size 01 November 2012

  Order porocessing & standard delivery acceptable. Moderately successful in cutting with jigsaw but needs to be cut slowly as melting at the cutting area can cause clogging and deviation from the cutting line. Single 5mm material has a noticable sag when fitted and loaded with a light load of fridge items. Consider two shelves of the same size, glued or taped together.

  Replacement shelf 25 October 2012

  This is just a plain piece of Plexiglass that will need to be cut to size with a saw or jigsaw. It does not have reinforcing so not suitable for heave products. I doubled up to ensure the shelves could hold everthing.
