  Just what I needed 02 October 2017

  After breaking the glass shelf in my freezer and sourcing this replacement it was an ideal replacement and If by chance I happen to to do the same thing again at least I know that this shelf will not break. Ideal replacement for glass.

  Works a treat 06 September 2017

  This was easy to cut and works a treat as a spare shelf while I await a part. It would work well as a permanent one as well. So all in all, a good buy.

  Product as described. Needed cutting to size. Easily done with standard saw. Fits great and makes an ideal shelf replacement.

  Oversized so you will need to cut this to the correct size. I used a large hacksaw, and used strips of masking tape to cover the cutting line, so that there was no risk of splintering. Remember: measure twice, cut once.

  Not what you think 24 July 2017

  The material is not strong enough to act as a shelf in a fridge unless you are prepared to accept the sagging profile. It's a bit 'make and mend' rather than being a proper solution. Also, be prepared to use your wood saw skills as you have to cut the shelf to size. Pity really, as the idea is right, just needs to be better formulated.

  Great for the price 21 July 2017

  Standard single sheet did two shelves. I didn't expect it to flex so much but now I know that I will arrange shelves as necessary so the Plexiglass has lighter loading. In the long term i will add a stiffener to the front, a simple job, maybe even pinching an edging from the back of a glass shelf. Excellent value overall. saved at least £30.

  Cut easily. Should mention its textured-bobbly - on one side. Not a negative, just unexpected. Only suitable for lightish loads, not totally rigid, slightly flexible., but I'd already seen this in the reviews so I ordered it knowing its limitations. Recommended.

  No way could I have replaced the broken shelf glass for my very old but perfectly reliable fridge freezer. This plexiglass alternative from E spares worked brilliantly. Be prepared to cut to size but cheap as chips. Looks the real deal too! Well packaged and swift to arrive.
