  Ghastly - don't buy it 15 June 2014

  The plexiglass is hard to cut as it fractures easily. I bought it because I thought it would be stronger than the standard plastic shelves which come from my manufacturer and because it was cheaper, but mostly because I thought it would be stronger. Getting the edges smooth is hard, even with a metal file, and within two weeks one of the shelves had broken across the middle. I now have to buy the original ones, which will break as well, but they will last longer than two weeks.

  Did not use the product at all 12 June 2014

  Cutting the Plexiglass, proved to be very difficult indeed, in fact it was a mess. The edges all burred up and seemed to fuse toegether after being cut. Really hard to work with overall, in my opinion. Neverless i cut them in two and tried to fix them. Tried to fix into the fridge , 4 shelf's could not get any of them into the fridge, without additional cutting of side access points in each of the 4 shelf's ( hence , just left it as ) as the product is not easy to work with. Put this down as an wasted exercise, and money lost. I would like to award this no stars at all in above catigory's.

  Not good for the job 07 May 2013

  I am afraid they are not strong enough for the job, putting a few items on the shelves they would bow badly. To date it has not broken but it looks like it will. I think it should be supplied with a front edge strip to help support it.

  NOT SUITABLE FOR MARKET 13 February 2013

  This product is one sheet of Plexiglass which is NOT cut to size. It is not suitable for anyone who does not have a suitable electric saw. It took me 2 hours to cut it to size in 2 directions with a tenon saw. The dimensions had to be within 2mm. Then it had to be gently levered into the frame ERF384. The glass should be supplied ready cut and fitted in the frame.
