  Best part for the job! 31 August 2016

  My Aquarius WM540 washing machine developed a flashing "door" fault near the end of each cycle which stopped the cycle, the fault got progressively worse until 'powering off and on' at socket no longer cleared the alarm. I found out worn motor Carbon Brushes can cause this fault signal as it can cause an 'open circuit' signal which makes the washing machine think there is a fault. I searched the Internet for spares and the pair of replacement Carbon Brushes I purchased were an exact match for mine and installation onto the motor was relatively simple once the motor was removed from machine. These replacement carbon brushes appear to be good quality and once fitted my flashing "door" fault signal has gone. Espares product description and images were extremely helpful.
