  Very Disappointing 16 April 2021

  I bought this to replace the extension tube for a Miele Cat and Dog vacuum cleaner. It is a good quality product but unfortunately the connection between the tube and the brush head is not close enough - it comes off very easily - and it is impossible to keep on when hoovering backwards (ie pulling). I have ditched this and I have resorted to duck tape on my old extension tube.

  When our Miele vacuum telescopic wand seized up, I checked with eSpares (as one does) to find a replacement. I found this 'universal' extension tube and was very pleased as it was about a tenth of the price of a Miele unit. I measured the diameter of the failed tube - 35mm! - Great! Although the illustration looked like plastic, reviews said the tube was stainless steel - excellent! I ordered said item, and it was delivered very promptly. I unpacked it and eagerly tried it out. ... and BOTH ends of the tube were 35mm ... Therefore no hope of fitting it to the existing tubes, as their bore was the same size ... Hence the title of this review ... We have just purchased a replacement vacuum cleaner ...
