  Essential purchase 04 July 2016

  I originally sent an attachment with a good drawing of the EXACT measurements of the wave guard that I required . My replacement was not in stock, The Universal Waveguide was suggested by return Email so out of desperation and difficulties living in Spain I ordered it. Look at the measurements. 500 x 300mm. The microwave itself does not have half those dimensions. I needed 107 x 65MM and the plate sent is 5 times the size required. Take into account the cost of packaging as opposed to an ordinary envelope. Another problem was cutting the shape to fit my Microwave. Not easy. Surely such a big company as E Spares could have a made to measure service instead of sending a piece of material 5 times the size required. What do I use the leftover for? this material is useless for anything other than what it is manufactured for. What an awful waste. Lack of imagination somewhere.

  Wave guard broken in two 11 August 2015

  The guard was delivered whilst I was away. It was brought in from the safe place and put in our house by family. Upon return the packaging was undamaged and unbent but the wave guard was in two pieces. This must have taken some doing as the item has a degree of flexibility before it will snap. Pieces big enough for 3 guards overall so kept it and cut to size. Only gripe is with damaged goods but it still did the job! Take from the review what you will.
