  Wave guard. 29 June 2020

  Delay in product arriving as incomplete address was on parcel and Eircode was also absent. Item arrived packaged between two pieces of cardboard with some tape around it and two of the corners were cracked and damaged. However I had no problem cutting the shape I needed and I fitted it no problem. Kathy Heeney

  Enough to make 12 repairs per sheet! 01 April 2020

  This is exactly the same material as my original, can easily be cut to size with scissors. There is far too much for the job, so lots and lots of wastage! Could offer a sheet the quarter of the size for lower packaging and postage cost.

  Easy to fit / saved my microwave 05 August 2017

  Very easy to cut with kitchen scissors and fit to microwave. I agree with other reviewers about the size of the sheet being so big, I really can't see why it's so large when a small piece is all that's needed. The huge parcel it came in was padded with bubble wrap and it arrived in good condition and very quickly after ordering. No need to buy a new microwave now !

  The waveguide sheet was exactly as described on the website and the fitting video was excellent. Cutting out the cover to size was not as simple as shown on the video due to damage to corners on the original making it necessary to guess the original shape. I am very satisfied with this purchase

  Easy job 29 March 2016

  Arrived promptly. So large I started to question if I had bought the correct part. I used the old guard as a template when cutting the new one so it fitted well. Job done in 5 minutes. The quality does not seem to be as good as the original but lots left to cut more. Only time will tell how long it will last.

  Thicker than supplier material 02 March 2016

  2 x thicker than supplier material but supplier Fagor don't exist. Very difficult to cut even with industrial scissors. Hard to fit in place behind lugs for thinner material, but once in, it works. Next problem may be removing it years later.

  Good product 11 November 2015

  Bought this because I couldn't find one the exact size I need. It was easy to cut to size using old one as a template. Fitted in minutes. The reason i say it is not 5 rating for value is because it is so big and not likely to need to replace the part again. Even if a further replacement was needed there is enough product left for about 10 more pieces. However it did save buying a new microwave so I am happy with the product. I suppose it could be used for family and friends if they need to replace theirs.

  It was quite easy to cut the cover to shape with a pair of sharp scissors, but I had to have two goes at fitting the new cover because the material is quite brittle and does not bend easily. However I tried the trick of bending it over a pencil the second time and managed to fit the lugs into the slots without too much difficulty. Have patience, it's well worth the effort and product is working fine.
