I broke the wave guide cover on my brand new microwave thinking it was part of the packaging and I ordered this sheet of universal waveguide cover material to replace it. It was better quality than the original and there is lots of it. I only needed a piece 100mm x 50mm and got a sheet 500mm x 300mm in the post a couple of days after ordering. Don't think Ill ever need any more!

This large sheet was more than enough to cut out about 20 guide covers and cost about 60% of the price of just 1. The quality of the material was excellent and it was delivered within two days of my order. Using the old damaged cover as a template it was easy to cut the card to the required size and shape with a pair of scissors. A little fiddly to clip into place but would have been the same with genuine part. Overall more than happy with product and service. Will definitely use again and recommend to others.

A large sheet of this mica-like material is supplied. Take the original piece and trace the outline onto the new large sheet, cut it out with scissors. Place over the aperture of the wave guide channel which is halfway down the right hand side, inside the microwave. Bow the new piece slightly to allow it to locate behind the 2 side tabs. Job done about 10 minutes!

The size of material supplied is sufficient to replace at least 4 wave guide covers on normal size microwaves and yet is a third the cost offered by other suppliers who supply covers only large enough to carry out one replacement. Easy to cut and fit using the old cover as a template. The item was delivered very quickly and considering both the size and price it's a bargain!

Unable to find exact wave guide cover so opted for cutting out own from this sheet using broken cover as template. Fits perfectly using only scissors to cut out and have plenty of material to make a few more if required

Not easy to fit 10 October 2013
Wave guard came in a large sheet which had to be cut to shape. It was very thick & not easy to cut.it was not flexible enough to fit into location tabs in microwave so had to make it shorter to slide it into one side of location tabs.would be far easier to fit if thinner more flexible material was used.
