  i went online just to check the price of the product to ensure that the electrician I would have to call to replace the element wasn't ripping me off. It was so reasonable and the video of how to fit, together with the reviews from those who had already done so, persuaded me that i could do it myself! The part was delivered well packed and undamaged and together with my 'power driver' and pliers I set to work. I did not take into account my Hotpoint is a slot in not built in which meant doing the job on ground level with my head in the oven and low light. Removing the back plate was easy but after 8 or so years use, removing the central screw that held in element was a long job. In the end after spraying it and calling in my husband for the stronger hand, it undid successfully. The rest was a 3 minute job. Be warned if you have a slot in cooker though, you will need a torch or spotlight to see what you are doing - and need to be fairly flexible!

  Easy to navigate website, how to videos made fitting easy, by a novice. As a genuine spare the right quality and price, could by cheaper elsewhere but price match can be used. Standard and next day delivery charges are high and could be reduced.
